The Metsovo wood sculptors created wood sculptured ecclesiastical works such as the iconostases, Despotic thrones, pulpits, icon stands, ciborium for the epitaphs, Lecterns, candelabra etc, for the liturgical needs of the churches, but also for decorative reasons, as well as works that related to the decoration of residences, for example wood sculptured ceilings, built in wardrobes, etc or decorated objects for daily use such as the spoons, shepherdÂ’s crooks, etc.
