Church of the Repose of the Virgin Mary at Ariste in the Zagori region

At Ariste, at the church of the Repose of the Virgin Mary (1806) on the inscription we read: « THIS HOLY AND MOST VENERABLE CHURCH THAT HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO THE REPOSE OF THE VIRGIN MARY...BY THE HAND OF LATE IOANNIS THE SON OF ATHANASIOS AND HIS SON ANASTASIOS AND ANAGNOSTIS FROM KAPESOVO, IN THE MONTH OF JULY 20TH».
