The museum belongs to the Baron Michael Tositsas Foundation. It is housed in the renovated Tositsa mansion and had been in operation since 1955. - The Averoff Gallery:
In one of the loveliest locations in Metsovo with an astounding view is a traditional, three story house which houses 250 works of art that constitute one the most significant collections of modern Greek art. The collection belonged to Evangellos Averoff, a politician, writer and the “father” of modern Metsovo. The Gallery opened in 1988 and in the past 20 years it has been very active with showings and events, conventions, training courses, publications, screening and art workshops, thus contributing significantly to the area’s development. Mrs Tatiana Averoff is the heart and soul of the gallery. She is the daughter of its founder and carries on the traditions of Metsovo's benefactors.
