Theogefiro

A natural monument: at the Lithino village level, the river Kalamas makes its way through the rocks, forming a natural bridge through the area’s rich vegetation; for centuries, the road that connected the town of Ioannina to the North and the Ionian Sea passed through here.

Kalamas

The Kalamas Gorge is covered with rock shelters and caves that are preservable. (before and after Theogefiro, along the river. No signs are placed along the paths that lead to these caves).
