Archeological Sites -Location Anemomilos: a considerable settlement and tombs dating back to the 11th century were discovered close to the village of Meropi at the southwestern part of the valley. The findings are exhibited in the Archeological Museum of Ioannina.
-Paleopirgos: foundations of circular, petal-shaped and oval constructions have been discovered in the locations Paliuria, Pervanas and Aghios Haralambos
-Location Glava in Kato Meropi: prehistoric box-shaped tombs.
-Vassiliko: ruins of an ancient citadel.
