The Wine Festival

Every year, usually in the last week of August, on the flat part of the hill of Profitis Ilias, which belongs to the homonymous monastery, a number of musical events take place with plenty of food and wine.

Local Bands

Karagiannis Brothers (Zitsa)
Lambros Karaferis Band (Lithino) – performs throughout Epirus and abroad.
Stavros Kapsalis Band (Zitsa) – performs in Athens during winter and in Zitsa during summer.
