KATSANOHORIA REGION/ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES AND MONUMENTS

ARCHEOLOGICAL SITES: The intense relief of the Katsanohoria area and its special climatic conditions may create the impression that the area is hostile to human settlement. Nevertheless, the area was inhabited in early times. It is witnessed by surface finds from the bronze age, ruined acropoles and hellenistic fortresses.
