In the narthex at the monastery of Aghia Paraskevi at Skamneli in Zagorion there exist exceptional murals where we read in an inscription the name of the «base» hagiographer Anastasios «from the town of Kapesovo».

Church of Aghios Nikolaos at Tsepelovo

The Church of Aghios Nikolaos at Tsepelovo, one of the magnificent works that was created by the Kapesovo hagiographers in 1786, where in the inscription we read: «This holy and most venerable church that is dedicated to our holy father Nikolaos was decorated in the year of our Lord 1786...by the hand of Ioannis and his son Anagnostis, and the steward Father Georgios his...full brother...from Kapesovo».

In an inscription we read: « This holy and most venerable church that is dedicated to the Repose of our Most Holy Lady the Virgin Mary was decorated... by the hand of me the humble Ioannis and his son Anastasios from Kapesovo / 4th November 1792»

Church of the Repose of the Virgin Mary at Ariste in the Zagori region

At Ariste, at the church of the Repose of the Virgin Mary (1806) on the inscription we read: « THIS HOLY AND MOST VENERABLE CHURCH THAT HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO THE REPOSE OF THE VIRGIN MARY...BY THE HAND OF LATE IOANNIS THE SON OF ATHANASIOS AND HIS SON ANASTASIOS AND ANAGNOSTIS FROM KAPESOVO, IN THE MONTH OF JULY 20TH».

Monastery of the Birth of the Virgin Mary at Kepoi

At the Monastery of the Birth of the Virgin Mary at Kepoi (Bangia) at Zagorion, that latest, to the present day mural ensemble, was painted by the hagiographer Ioannis from Kapesovo is collaboration with Theodosi Ioannitis in 1841, as we read in an inscription.

The Monastery for the Repose of the Virgin Mary at Chrysobitsa

The Monastery for the Repose of the Virgin Mary at Chrysobitsa (1781) is presently a parish church. In an inscription that has been preserved by Ch. Soulis we read: « This holy and most venerable church that is dedicated to our Most Holy Lady the Virgin Mary was decorated in 1781 on June 29th... by the hand of Ioannis and Georgios Priest the full brothers from Kapesovo under the supervision of Kyriakos Stoikos both for the throne and the pulpit with the Holy Entrance for the serving priests ».

Monastery of Aghios Ioannis o Prodromos of Rongovo

Monastery of Aghios Ioannis o Prodromos of Rongovo, near Tsepelovo in the Zagori region, was built in 1749 and was painted with amazing murals in 1765 by the Kapesovo hagiographers Anastasio and his sons Ioannis and Georgios, according to the inscription that we read in the main church.
